FOCUS Enhancements has begun shipping its FireStore with an enhanced feature set, including support for QuickTime and Mac OS X, file compatibility with Matrox products, and AV/C control. The FireStore allows video professionals to record digital video directly to a FireWire hard drive without a computer, and sells for US$995.
