Lyle Andrews has released MetaView2.0 (http://www.metaview.tv/), an update of the Mac OS X application that lets you view stock market data in 3D. New features include 3D metaplots of volume data, a news “Dragnet” feature that searches the Internet for stories related to a particular stock, and 3D plotting of headlines and historic events.

MetaView 2.0 also boasts faster openGL graphics and a new streamlined client/server architecture. MetaView costs US$49.95, but also requires a subscription to a special MetaView data feed for $15 per month.
