Extensis today announced the release of Portfolio 6, its digital asset management solution for Mac OS 8/9. New features include seamless synchronization between the Portfolio catalog and actual folders on disk, Web page templates, automatic image collection and catalog creation, a streamlined interface, and more. Portfolio 6 is available now for US$199.95. Upgrades from previous versions are available at prices ranging from $69.95 to $129.95, while competitive upgrades cost $129.95. Portfolio Server is available for $2,499.95, which includes 5 free copies of Portfolio 6. French, German, and Japanese versions will be released in the first half of 2002. Registered owners of Portfolio 6 will receive a free upgrade to the Mac OS X version once released later this year.
