ACD SYSTEMS LAUNCHES ACDSEE FOR MAC 1.6
Software now compatible with Mac OS X
Victoria, British Columbia — June 28, 2001 – ACD Systems International
Inc. (TSE:ASA), the digital imaging company, today announced the release of
ACDSee for Mac 1.6, the most complete and user-friendly digital imaging
software for the Macintosh operating system.
The MacHack CD from last week’s conference is now available for US$19.95. The CD contains 82 hacks from the conference, most of which include the source code. Additionally, the CD contains this year’s papers and many of the presentations.

The new version supports Napster’s new filtering protocols that the company recently implemented that should provide for more accurate filtering, and thus more songs to download. All previous versions of Napster have been disabled, as well. VersionTracker notes that this release offers lots of bug fixes, new OS X style preferences, and Mac OS X support.
