Analyst Susan Byrne calls Apple a “safe pick,” noting that last year, Apple was hurt by the slowdown in the PC market while failing to deliver some key product features. Despite that, the company maintained a strong balance sheet. “Apple currently has upside potential that outweighs the limited downside risk by a factor of four to one,” says Byrne.
