DigiCerf Selects VeriSign To Provide Secure Communications for Consumers

Aliso Viejo, CA – DigiCerf, Inc., an online provider of consumer security
software, today announced that it has selected VeriSign Inc. (NASDAQ:VRSN)
to provide authentication and managed digital certificate services to power
a new consumer offering.
Apple today issued a voluntary recall of all PowerBook G3 adapters manufactured from May 1998 through March 2000. Apple will replace free of charge any two-prong PowerBook G3 adapters manufactured during that time. “The affected AC adapters could overheat, posing a fire hazard. Apple received six reports of these adapters overheating. No injuries have been reported.
