Feelorium has released Textation 1.0, which it describes as an easy to use QuickTime text track editor. Users point, click and type the text needed to display, without the need to manipulate text descriptors manually or type time codes individually. Textation is available for US$29 for Mac OS X only and requires QuickTime 5.

Apple features round-up

Apple has published a feature on Waking Life, a new independent animated film that was created and produced largely with Macs. The film is being distributed by Fox Searchlight; a trailer is also available for viewing. Another feature takes a look at the Living American Master Photographers Project, an online exhibit of some of the greatest living photographers. Macs are used throughout the process for the project.
