id Software has released Return to Castle Wolfenstein Multiplayer Test 2 for Mac OS X. Developed by Gray Matter Interactive and Nerve Software, Return to Castle Wolfenstein is a 3D first-person shooter that puts players in the center of the Axis and Allied powers in World War II. The test version is primarily designed to test and tweak the game’s networking code, although thousands of players have taken advantage of the free test version to get a taste of the unreleased game.

Columnist justifies Mac OS X price tag

iPod scores high marks from PC magazine

PC Magazine has published a review of Apple’s iPod, awarding the device a four-out-of-five rating. “Leave it to Apple, maker of some of the world’s sleekest computers, to come out with the world’s coolest MP3 player,” begins the review, concluding with, “the pricing is at the extreme high end for an MP3 player, but this is a tremendously good product.”
