Apple has identified and corrected a bug with the iPod that can cause a small percentage of the devices to temporarily not wake from sleep when the battery reaches a low charge level. All iPod owners are encouraged to download and install the iPod Firmware Update 1.0.2. The update also provides additional quality enhancements and support for additional languages, including Italian, Dutch and Spanish. Apple has also posted troubleshooting information for those people that have experienced the iPod sleep-mode bug.
