If you’ve been worried about how former Apple chief executive Gil Amelio is getting along since his ouster in 1997, worry no more. The Wall Street Journal (subscription required) reports the venture capitalist is selling his Stonewood estate on Lake Tahoe’s west shore and is asking $17.995 million for it. Having bought it for $5.025 million in 1996, Amelio will walk away with a tidy profit on the six bedroom, six bathroom home that sits on 3 1/2 acres. And don’t forget: “The property is being sold furnished, including two 2000 Polaris four-passenger watercraft.”
