Zero G Software has announced the release of InstallAnywhere 4.5, a multi-platform solution for creating complex software installers. InstallAnywhere 4.5 adds support for Mac OS X, including the ability to install aliases and files into the Dock, complete support for the Mac OS file system, a built in understanding of the Classic environment, and full Aqua support. Other new features include support for Windows XP, improved installer optimization, and integration with the company’s software updating solution, PowerUpdate. InstallAnywhere 4.5 is available now in three different versions: Enterprise Edition (US$2,495), Standard Edition ($995), and Now! (free download).
