As expected on Friday, Handspring today introduced its new Visor Pro and Visor Neo handhelds. The US$299 Visor Pro features a 33MHz Dragonball VZ CPU, 16MB of memory, a 4-bit monochrome screen, and a built-in Lithium Ion battery — essentially the same as the $199 Visor Platinum, but with twice the memory and a rechargeable battery. The $199 Visor Neo features the same specs as the Visor Pro with half the memory and powered by AAA batteries; it’s available in smoke, red, and blue. Visor has discontinued its original Visor handheld.
