sLab finalizes acquisition of dtF/SQL for Macintosh, introduces
Rhapsody-version and internet integration of dtF/SQL at MacWorld SF ’98.

BOEBLINGEN, GERMANY. January 2, 1998 — sLab announced today that it has
finalized the acquisition of the dtF/SQL for Macintosh product from theta
group. With the aquisition of dtF/SQL for Macintosh, sLab reinforces its
committment to the MacOS and Rhapsody market.

At MacWorld SF’98, sLab will make available its first developer releases of
dtF/SQL for Rhapsody. sLab will also demonstrate dtF/HTML, its new
web-server integration of dtF/SQL. With dtF/HTML, dtF/SQL access can be
directly linked with Apache and other Web-Servers, which provides
developers with a high- performance, low-overhead database connectivity
solution. Client access to dtF/HTML can be provided both via JDBC or
server-based, HTML-integrated scripting languages like PHP/FI or heitml.

Full versions of all dtF products can be downloaded free of charge from
http://www.slab.de. dtF/SQL is free for non-commercial use and offers an
attractive licensing scheme for professional software developers.

to client/server solutions, ODBC 2.1 access on both Windows and Macintosh
platforms. dtF/SQL is free for non-commercial use and offers an attractive
licensing scheme for professional software developers.
