In addition to the iPod and iPod mini, Target is now selling Apple’s new Mac mini. It is not clear whether the low-cost Mac is only available from Target.com or if it will also be in the company’s more than 1,200 stores across the U.S.

iPods return to Target

Target is once again selling Apple’s iPod after it stopped carrying the digital music player in April. According to Target’s Web site, the retailer is offering the new third generation iPods, with the 10GB version being sold at its brick and mortar stores. The 10, 15 and 30GB models are all available on its online store.

iPod now available at Target

As expected, Apple today announced that its iPod digital music player will be available at all Target stores nationwide starting this week. All 1,148 Target stores will offer the 10GB iPod for Mac and Windows. “We’re thrilled that Target will significantly expand the availability of Apple’s award-winning iPod to even more customers,” said Tim Cook, Apple’s executive vice president of Worldwide Sales and Operations.

Target to sell iPods

Apple is planning to sell its iPod digital music player at Target stores nationwide, according to c|net. Apple declined to comment on the move, although several Target stores confirmed having both Mac and Windows models on hand. Apple announced a similar distribution deal with Best Buy in September.
