The PandaWare Company is looking for beta testers for a new version of its cross-platform help authoring application, Simple Help Editor 2.5. Macintosh and Windows users can use Simple Help Editor to easily create software help systems that display in Apple Help Viewer, Windows’ HTML Help viewer, a Web browser, or in a proprietary help window (for applications created with Real Software’s REALbasic). This new version offers a number improvements to make cross-platform development easier.

The PandaWare Company is seeking beta testers for Simple Help Editor 2.0, its help authoring application for Macintosh and Windows developers. Version 2.0 supports creation of help systems in HTML and Apple Help Book formats, as well as version 1.0’s proprietary styled-text format for REALbasic developers. Other improvements include the ability to add graphics (to HTML output), to link to external resources, and a number of options for saving to HTML.
