The PandaWare Company is looking for beta testers for a new version of its cross-platform help authoring application, Simple Help Editor 2.5. Macintosh and Windows users can use Simple Help Editor to easily create software help systems that display in Apple Help Viewer, Windows’ HTML Help viewer, a Web browser, or in a proprietary help window (for applications created with Real Software’s REALbasic). This new version offers a number improvements to make cross-platform development easier. One of the biggest additions is an option to prepare content for compilation into a CHM file, the format used for display in Microsoft Windows’ HTML Help viewer application.
