Iomega Desktop Hard Drive XL Series announced
Iomega today announced the Iomega Desktop Hard Drive XL Series, a compact four-drive enclosure with 1 terabyte (TB) of capacity. The new drive connects to the host PC through one of its three built-in interfaces: FireWire 800, FireWire 400 or USB 2.0 (backwards compatible with USB 1.1). It includes four 250GB SATA drives, each running at 7200 RPM with 8MB cache, and is configurable as a RAID 0 (striped).
