Intelli Innovations today announced a new IntelliScanner Pro, offering a complete barcode and item tracking solution for business and education. Available for both Mac OS X and Windows, IntelliScanner Pro can be used with popular applications such as FileMaker Pro, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Excel, or with the product’s included IntelliScanner Businesss Essentials commercial software suite for inventory control, media management, and asset tag creation.

Intelli Innovations today unveiled the new IntelliScanner Collector, the second generation of its Personal Barcode Reader. The US$199 device empowers users with barcode technology, offering easy collection management of books, DVDs, CDs, and games.

Intelli Innovations has released Intelliscanner Collector 1.1, a new version of its hardware and software solution for automatically organizing books, DVDs, CDs and other media collections by utilizing barcode technology. The free update adds Palm synchronization; barcode-enabled printing; support for console video games; “Add by name” item lookup; and more. IntelliScanner Collector is priced at US$199.

The IntelliScanner Collector from Intelli Innovations is debuting today and will be immediately available from the company’s Web site. It’s a packaged solution for automatically organizing movies, music, and books on Mac OS X. Both the Collection software and the Collector barcode reader are included; you just connect the scanner to a USB port and launch the included software. Then you can scan in items and have them automatically added to your personal database, including detailed product information and artwork.
