The IntelliScanner Collector from Intelli Innovations is debuting today and will be immediately available from the company’s Web site. It’s a packaged solution for automatically organizing movies, music, and books on Mac OS X. Both the Collection software and the Collector barcode reader are included; you just connect the scanner to a USB port and launch the included software. Then you can scan in items and have them automatically added to your personal database, including detailed product information and artwork. The IntelliScanner Collector is Intelli Innovation’s first direct, consumer-targeted offering. It’s on sale now at an introductory cost of US$179 ($20 off the regular price) through January 10, 2004.
