Aspyr Media today announced Virtual Villagers and Travelogue 360: Paris for Mac, both US$29.99, have now arrived in stores throughout North America. Both games are licensed by Big Fish Games. “These poor villagers washed up on shore after surviving a horrific volcanic eruption. You have to guide them in learning how to survive in this real-time simulation game. They learn by doing, but you might have to keep an eye on them to make sure they don’t give up too easily.

Aspyr Media today announced that will publish a Mac version of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation: Dark Motives. The company said the game — which is licensed by Ubisoft and being developed for the Mac by Critical Path — is expected to be released this summer. “Truth always leaves a trace. In CSI: Dark Motives, team up with the entire cast of CSI and a new, improved crime lab to track down the heinous truth in five complex new crimes. No crime is ever perfect.

Aspyr Media today announced it’s dropping prices on several Mac titles. Aspyr Media will be showcasing The Sims 2 on Friday, April 15, at 7:00 p.m. at the monthly Aspyr game night at Austin’s Apple store. The Apple Store at Barton Creek Mall hosts this free community event each month to demonstrate the quality of Mac gaming with the latest Macintosh games and the newest Macintosh equipment. Aspyr representative Andrew Brazell will be on hand to give a short demonstration. The Sims 2, licensed from Electronic Arts, is scheduled to ship in June. The game can be pre-ordered now for US$49.99.

Aspyr Media announced today that it is now shipping Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour, the first expansion pack for Command & Conquer Generals. Aspyr Media announced today it has cancelled conversion of the Men of Valor game for Mac OS X. “The decision to remove the title from Aspyr’s calendar was a result of several different factors and much deliberation,” the company said in a statement. “Aspyr remains dedicated to continuing to bring high-quality games to Mac users and apologizes for the change of plans.”

Aspyr Media announced today that it will begin shipping two new Mac game bundles next week–Medal of Honor Warchest and The Sims Party Pack. Medal of Honor Warchest features Medal of Honor Allied Assault, Spearhead and Breakthrough. The Sims Party Pack includes The Sims, Hot Date, House Party and Livin’ Large. Both are expected to retail for US$49.99 each.
