iBook program successful in Maine middle school
A fledgling program to incorporate iBooks into the Piscataquis CommunityMiddle School curriculum in 2000 has been deemed a success by SuperintendentMatthew Oliver, as reported by the Bangor Daily News. Oliver recently distributed a 3-page report on itssuccess to some legislators and the media, highlighting their use of”Internet driver’s licenses” for students and broad training and support todeter potential problems.
