Here are the latest incremental updates for Mac OS X apps.

Remoter Labs (http://remoterlabs.com) has announced Remoter Pro 1.0.1 for iOS, an update to their productivity app app that allows users to remotely control Macs via Screen Sharing, and Windows or Linux PCs using the VNC or RDP standards right from their iOS devices. The app uses Bonjour to make setup a cinch, and also features a novel “virtual trackpad” to precisely control of the mouse cursor. Sound redirection, RDP, Telnet and SSH which also allows for secure VNC/RDP over SSH, are also included.

Apple purportedly in talks to buy maker of premium TVs (updated)

According to “AppleInsider” (http://www.appleinsider.com), Apple is reportedly negotiating to acquire Loewe AG (http://www.loewe.tv/int), a manufacturer and distributor of televisions, audio components and integrated entertainment systems.

Apple is reportedly offering 87.3 million Euros (about US$112 million),, the article adds. A final decision is expected to be announced by the end of this week, says “AppleInsider.”

C’mon, Apple. lavish some gaming love on the Mac

Market Research company Newzoo (http://www.newzoo.com) says Apple is dominating the mobile gaming market with 84% of the revenue coming from iOS devices, rather than Android. Now I’d love to see Apple lavish some real gaming love on the Mac.

Of all American mobile gamers, 19 million play on an iPhone, which is 28% of all smartphone gamers, according to NewZoo. An additional 18 million plays games on an iPod Touch. In the tablet gaming space, the iPad is dominant with a share of 60%, or 12.7 million Americans.
