Macworld Apple Watch Series 11 View Deal (function () { document.querySelector("#sticky-promo-block a").addEventListener("click", function(e) { const debug = document.location.host.search(/lndo.site|go-vip.net/) !== -1; const text = this.closest("#sticky-promo-block").querySelector("p.promo-title").textContent; const data = { event: "stickyConversionUnitClick", eventCategory: "Sticky Conversion", eventAction: "Click", eventLabel: text }; if(debug)console.log("Sticky Conversion CLick - pushing to dataLayer: ", data); dataLayer.push(data); return true; }); })(); The Apple Watch Series 11 is down to $299 again, its best price yet. While Apple marks this as a $100 discount, we’ve most frequently seen the smartwatch available for $330. Still, that doesn’t change the fact that $299 remains the most affordable the Watch 11 has been. The Apple Watch 11 isn’t just a fitness band or a specialty device; instead, it’s a watch that can do it all, handling health tracking, workouts, notifications, and iPhone syncing all at once. The watch features a ton of health-related sensors, including ECG readings, signal high and low heart rates, irregular rhythm notifications, and more. And if you wear it overnight, the watch will even give you a sleep score that actually helps you understand your rest rather than just logging hours. One of the things we appreciate about the Apple Watch 11, as we pointed out in our review, is the stellar battery life. For the first time, you’ll get up to 24 hours of normal use, and a quick 15-minute recharge can add about 8 hours of use. One thing to point out is that this is the GPS model, which means that you absolutely must have your iPhone nearby at all times to receive notifications, calls, and messages. If you want to leave your phone at home and still get messages, you’ll need to get one of the GPS models, which are also on sale, but will cost you $100 more. We also appreciate the safety features. Fall detection and crash detection can automatically connect you with emergency services and alert your preferred contacts. These are great features to have, even if you hope to never have to use them. At $299, the Apple Watch Series 11 is an easy recommendation for any iPhone owner who wants a gorgeous health and fitness watch without paying full price.02:25 pmApple Arcade just got four new games, with more coming soon

Despite initial claims that Apple Intelligence would run only on Apple Silicon, the company will now also use Google Cloud and Nvidia processors, raising questions about privacy.Apple is continuing to promote how Apple Intelligence can work on-device without needing an internet connection. But when a prompt requires more, Craig Federighi said in 2024 that it was essential for privacy and security that it uses only Apple servers. That was before the partnership with Google Gemini, however, which has previously been rumored to extend to Apple using Google Cloud. According to The Information, this partnership does include Google Cloud, and consequently Google's servers running Nvidia Blackwell B200 chips.Reportedly, Apple is to enable a confidential compute feature in these Nvidia chips, which encrypts data as it's being processed. That should mean that Apple continues to be able to secure Apple Intelligence requests.Currently when Apple Intelligence sends a request from a user's device to the company's cloud servers, it is protected by Apple's Private Cloud Compute. This is what means a user can access a full-size AI LLM, yet know that only their prompt is being passed to it. Continue Reading on AppleInsider | Discuss on our Forums
