Business Wire has posted Exhibitor Profiles for thirty companies who will be showing at Macworld Expo next week in New York City. In a report sent to clients (not available to the public), Merrill Lynch analyst Steven Fortuna says the brokerage firm expects sales of iBooks to remain strong as Apple readies a 14-inch display iBook that they expect will be introduced at Macworld Expo next week. In late May, c|net quoted a source at AlphaTop, the manufacturer of Apple’s iBooks, as saying that a new iBook with a widescreen display and colored case was in the works. Apple denied the report.

UK reseller MyGate has begun shipping the DVIator DVI-to-ADC adapter, which allows ADC displays to be connected to the DVI port on a video card. The adapter sells for £128.08 (incl. VAT). US Mac users can purchase the DVIator from Dr. Bott for US$149.95.

An eWeek article takes a look at Apple’s forthcoming retail store announcements, recapping the sites that Apple has officially announced and sites that are as of yet unannounced but have been advertising job openings. The article speculates that some locations are likely to open shortly after Macworld Expo New York next week, including a store in Plano, Texas in early August.
