Brother has updated its Mac OS X Support page with new drivers for some of its printers, as noted by VersionTracker. The list has also been updated to reflect for which devices drivers are in development for.

ExtremeTech has published an article that explains how to connect a Mac running either Mac OS 9.1 or OS X to a PC network to share an Internet connection. The article covers both Ethernet and 802.11b (AirPort) connections.

Infoworld recently published a review of Mac OS X Server, awarding the software a 6 out of 10 rating. The magazine’s primary gripe with the operating system was not with the software itself, but rather with Apple’s limiting Power Mac G4 Server hardware, which severely limits the functionality of the OS in anything larger than a small-to-medium sized environment.

Apple has added several new features to its HomePage iTool, including password protection for specific pages, a slide show format for full-size images, a site menu, easier editing, visitor counters, and more. HomePage is provided free of charge to Mac users. Updated 11:23 – MacMinute reader Yan Feng notes, “the new Homepage features from Apple iTools work only with IE 5.1 Final Release included with OS X 10.1. Great. I’m still on 10.0.4.”
