Packed with visual effects and running at under 60-seconds each, these short films will be accompanied by a behind-the-scenes breakdown that walks viewers through the filmmaking and post-production process. Every Film Team Experiment will feature visual effects techniques — both practical and CGI — that achieve Hollywood-quality results on a small budget, says Aharon Rabinowitz, executive producer at Red Giant Films.

A recent study from the In-vehicle UX group at Strategy Analytics (www.strategyanalytics.com) surveying consumers in the US and Western Europe has confirmed low interest in wearables for automotive use-cases.

While younger males and luxury car owners appeared to be most interested in the US, strong interest was below 20% across all Western European segments. Despite the market for wearables (and in particular smartwatches) poised for strong growth, wearables in automotive remain arguably a solution in search of a problem.

Apple Music is getting its first exclusive song thanks to Pharrell Williams. His new song, “Freedom,” will be available on Apple Music when the streaming music service launches on June 30, the artist announced on Twitter.

No word on how long the song will be an Apple Music exclusive — or whether Pharrell’s upcoming album might be Apple Music only for a limited time. Apple is reportedly negotiating with other artists for exclusive releases.
