Toxins return in electronics and electrics

There is a flood of new electronic and electrical devices reintroducing toxins very similar to those in tobacco smoke, diesel fumes, asbestos and other killers, according to IDTechEx.

Some of these devices will sell in up to billions yearly but there has been no tracking of the big picture of imminent toxic threat from the balance of virulence, morphology and likely prevalence of these toxins. Something only moderately toxic is a threat if it is widely deployed in millions yearly and has uncontrolled disposal.

Mellel 4.1 introduces DOCX support, Tracking, Word Spacing, and more

Mellel has released Mellel 4.1 (https://www.mellel.com/mellel/), an update to its word processor. The upgrade offers a host of new export capabilities and features for both its Mac and iPad versions.

Mellel can now import Microsoft Word DOCX documents. Users can now set letter-spacing easily. A Minimum Word Spacing feature gives a way to squeeze and maximize spacing. Users can now change the color of items in an outline, can truncate outline items so they don’t wrap and more.
