GelaSkins releases Marvel designs

GelaSkins (http://www.GelaSkins.com) has released their new Marvel Comics designs, providing a wide range of images from legendary comics for laptop and iPhone skins.
 
The new designs from Marvel include character images of Iron Man, Spider Man and X-Men. The designs will incorporate the characters themselves, along with classic designs of their original comic covers.

Rumor: first iPads to go on sale March 26

Apple store employees will get a glimpse of the iPad on March with the device likely to go on sale March 26, according to a report at the “LA Gadgets Examiner” (http://www.examiner.com/examiner/x-11295-LA-Gadgets-Examiner~y2010m3d2-iPad-Apple-store-employees-will-experience-device-on-March-10).

The article says that this release date is for the Wi-Fi versions only, and that the 3G models won’t be available until April or May. Also, commercials will purportedly start airing on March 15.

Apple is number four on list of top UK online retailers

Apple ranks fourth on the list of the top UK ecommerce shops in terms of visits. Amazon UK tops the list, followed by Argos and Play.com, according to the latest research from IMRG and Hitwise.

Rounding out the top 10 are Amazon US, Tesco, Marks & Spencer, John Lewis, Next and easyjet. Nine of the November 2009 top 10 brands (including Apple) are still in the top 10. Six of the top 10 have physical stores, the same as last quarter.

AT&T says the iPad will mostly use Wi-Fi

AT&T says the upcoming iPad will be mainly used by those surfing the web using Wi-Fi. The Apple device will be offered in just Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi/3G models.

“My expectation is that there’s not going to be a lot of people out there looking for another subscription,” AT&T CEO Randall Stephenson said during a webcast of an investor conference on Tuesday — as reported by “Macworld UK” (http://www.macworld.co.uk/digitallifestyle/news/index.cfm?newsid=3214048).
