FileMyFiles for Mac OS X adds uninstall/remove app features

Pubblog has updated FileMyFiles (http://filemyfiles.com), a file organizing utility for Mac OS X, to version 2.3. The upgrade adds the capability to uninstall and remove applications, along with all of their associated files and folders.

According to the folks at Pubblog, with one click, FileMyFiles will: clean up your Desktop; copy your important files and folders to your laptop when you go on the road; and copy them back to your desktop computer when you return. You can even schedule FileMyFiles to automatically organize all the files in a list of all of your important folders.

SecretBox for Mac OS X adds Import Assistant

app4mac has released SecretBox 2.1 (http://www.app4mac.com/secretbox.html) for Mac OS X, an update of the app that allows you to keep your secrets in a safe place and uses 256-bit AES encryption to protect your data.

Version 2.1 offers a new Import Assistant. Now you can import data from the 1Password Interchange format. There’s also an improved user interface and enhanced search function.
