Apple posts new iPhone 4/FaceTime ads

Apple has posted four new iPhone 4 television ads that promote the smartphone’s FaceTime feature. In case you’re not familiar with it, FaceTime is video calling that uses Wi-Fi.

Apple says that using FaceTime is as easy as making a regular voice call, with no set-up required. On the iPhone 4, you can instantly switch to the rear camera to show others what you are seeing with just a tap.

Samsung plans to regain number one spot in the French mobile phone market

Samsung Electronics says it plans on regaining its number one spot by value in the French mobile phone handset market from Apple by September this year

Samsung remains first in terms of volume, taking 39% of the market with 4.5 million phones sold, David Eberle, the head of Samsung’s French operations, told “AFP” (http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20100712/tc_afp/franceskoreatelecomequipcompanyapplesamsung). NoteList for Mac OS X gets some interface changes

Tension Software has updated NoteList (http://pomola.com/products_notelist/notelist.html), a Mac OS X app that allows to store notes in a free form using text and images with full word processing capabilities, to version 2.8.2. The upgrade allows the search field to be selected at startup and makes some small interface changes.

NoteList has a set of tools for formatting and working with text as in a word processor. You can drag and drop images directly inside the document and label categories to help organize all your notes, now with colors.
