Canada Type font collection available from Ascender

Ascender Corp. says that the Canada Type font design studio has come to a font distribution agreement with Ascender.
 
Rebecca Alaccari and Patrick Griffin founded the Toronto-based Canada Type back in early 2004. Since its establishment, Canada Type has created a variety of typefaces for design professionals and creative enthusiasts. The Canada Type fonts have appeared on everything from large corporate projects to small personal design work.

Aero case ships for the iPhone 4

RadTech (http://www.radtech.com) has introduced the Aero case for the iPhone 4. The US$24.95 case is form-fitting and lightweight. It’s made of a skin-tight, zero-flex polyurethane material that purportedly enhances your grip of the Apple smartphone.

The Aero allows full control of the iPhone from inside the case. It’s available in black, blue, green, purple and pink colors.


The Aero is washable and auoclavable. What’s more, the folks at RadTech say it improves cell signal reception.

Grantwood Technology has released the QuickSkin for iPad (http://grantwoodstore.com/QuickSkin-for-iPad-with-Groovy-Grip/M/B003GMJ8NO.htm), a protective silicone skin for the Apple tablet. It has a GroovyGrip pattern that makes the idevice easier to hold.

iPhone owners and train aficionados can now take control over locomotives barreling through famous U.S. destinations in Train Conductor 2: USA (TC2) by Aussie developer The Voxel Agents. With the swipe of a finger on the US$0.99 app, players get to direct trains passing through Miami Beach, the Grand Canyon, Nashville, Las Vegas and New York City. An iPad version is in the works.
