Apple unveils iAd mobile advertising platform
At the unveiling of iPhone OS 4, Apple debuted iAd, Apple’s new mobile advertising platform, which “combines the emotion of TV ads with the interactivity of web ads,” Apple CEO Steve Jobs said.

Over 85 million iPhone and iPod touch users around the world can choose from a range of apps in 20 categories, including games, business, news, sports, health, reference and travel. Jobs also said that Apple has sold 50 million iPhones and 35 million iPod touches.
