Hyberbolic Software (http://www.hyperbolicsoftware.com) has released Tidy Up! 2.2.4, the latest version of their disk, file and folder processing utility for Mac OS X.

Tidy Up! can find duplicate files and packages using any criteria. Version 2.2.5 improves the search in iPhoto and Aperture; now it responds better to user actions.

Tidy Up 2.2.5 requires Mac OS X 10.5 (“Leopard”) or higher. Upgrades from version 1.x are $20, and upgrades from version 2.x are free.

SmileOnMyMac has changed its name to Smile. Originally a developer of software for Mac OS X exclusively, Smile now develops software for iOS devices as well.

“We’ve developed software for the Mac for seven years,” says founder Greg Scown. “Now that we have TextExpander touch for iPhone and iPad, we’ve outgrown the
SmileOnMyMac name.

publicspace.net has updated its “A Better Finder Attributes” utility (http://www.publicspace.net/ABetterFinderAttributes/) — which can change Finder attributes, such as creation and modification dates — to version 4..49. The upgrade adds the ability to simultaneously add or subtract time from both the EXIF photo date and the file’s creation date.
