BatchOutput Server for InDesign gets improved link updating

Zevrix Solutions has updated BatchOutput Server (http://zevrix.com/BatchOutputServer.php), an output workflow automation solution for Adobe InDesign, to version 4.2.8. The new version addresses an issue related to auto-updating of modified links.

Under BatchOutput Server workflow, production artists and prepress operators simply submit files to hotfolders that reside on the network. BatchOutput Server automatically outputs the files from its dedicated station using hotfolder settings, and will auto-activate document fonts as well.

O2 to overhaul its iPhone consumer tariffs

Analyst: Apple share could hit $435 by 2012

In a report to clients issued Friday, Morgan Stanley’s Katy Huberty offered a scenario in which Apple shares could US$435 by 2012 due to the iPad and new iPhones in June.

As reported by “Fortune,” Huberty told clients she ewas anticipating unit sales of six million iPads in calendar 2010, considerably higher than the Street’s consensus of 3-4 million.
She also forecasts iPhones in June that offer “both a lower total cost of ownership and new functionality, potentially including gesture-based technology.”
