ExactCode has updated its ExactScan Pro (http://www.exactcode.de/site/products/exactscan/) scanning software for Mac OS X (10.4 and higher) to version 2.10. The upgrade sports a new TWAIN Bridge to enable third party applications to utilize ExactScan’s built-in drivers and image processing.
Additionally, the new version adds automatic color detection, automatic source selection and more OCR languages. ExactScan 2.10 is currently in beta, and will be available as free update for ExactScan 2 users at the end of March.

Black Cat Systems has updated DX Toolbox (http://www.blackcatsystems.com/software/dxtoolbox.html) — a radio propagation/conditions analysis and forecasting tool for amateur radio operators, shortwave listeners, and other radio enthusiasts — to version 3.6.1. This version fixes bugs with the DX Cluster window, and display of solar flux values.
