The film is being distributed by Fox Searchlight; a trailer is also available for viewing. Another feature takes a look at the Living American Master Photographers Project, an online exhibit of some of the greatest living photographers. Macs are used throughout the process for the project.

Apple WebObjects 5.0up3 released

VersionTracker notes the release of WebObjects 5.0up3, Apple’s Web application development tool. “This update corrects the known incompatibilities between WebObjects 5 and Mac OS X 10.1 and is required on that platform. This update should not be installed on Mac OS X versions earlier than 10.1,” notes VersionTracker.

Fire 0.28b fixes Yahoo! chat bugs

Epicware has released a new version of its multi-client instant messaging and chat software for Mac OS X — Fire 0.28.b. This release fixes problems with the Yahoo! messaging service as well as other minor improvements. Fire currently supports simultaneous connections to AOL Instant Messenger, ICQ, Yahoo!, IRC, MSN, and Jabber IM.
