Nearly half of iPhone users are uncomfortable storing personal data on iCloud

Nearly half of iPhone users have little or no confidence in storing their personal information on iCloud, according to a survey of 1,001 iPhone users conducted by Clutch (https://clutch.co/), a business-to-business (B2B) ratings and reviews firm. Forty-seven percent (47%) of iPhone users said they are only “slightly” or “not at all” comfortable with storing personal information on iCloud. Meanwhile, 44% of respondents said they are “very” or “somewhat” comfortable with doing so.

Study: Tech sector’s diversity problems run deep

The number of new devices connected to the Internet is estimated to reach 21 billion by 2020, but recent reports indicate that the tech sector’s diversity and inclusion practices have failed to meet a commensurate level of innovation.
 
From a 2016 report by Intel and Dalberg Global Development Advisors, almost two-thirds of tech workers are white. The industry could, however, generate an additional $300-$370 billion annually if the racial/ethnic diversity of their workforces reflected that of the national talent pool.
