Since I can’t cover everything, here are some recommended articles from other websites. ° From 9to5Mac: xAI’s lawsuit accusing Apple and OpenAI of anticompetitive practices has less to do with Grok’s App Store visibility, and more to do with a fixation Musk has...
Workers at Apple’s unionized store in Towson Maryland, are asking for higher pay and additional time off, along with changes that could affect the company’s tightly controlled retail experience, such as letting customers tip employees. reports Bloomberg. I...
The folks at Monoprice reached out to Apple World Today to review The Dark Matter Sentry Streaming Microphone. I either broadcast or record audio files seven days a week and usually record 4-5 hours each week. Naturally I was interested in testing this microphone....
My hub of choice for use with my laptop is Satechi’s Pro Hub Slim. I tested in on a 2023 16-inch MacBook Pro. (See my review of the laptop here.) However, if you need a LOT more ports, you may need OWC’s upcoming Thunderbolt Go Dock. The question is how much...

If you do high-volume commercial or fine art inkjet printing and want to use possibly the finest ICC profiles and page layout features available, ColorByte’s (www.colorbytesoftware.com) ImagePrint version 9 (starting at US$695) fits the bill.
ImagePrint is a raster image processor (RIP) designed to work with Epson inkjet printers. ImagePrint overrides Epson’s driver, taking control of the print heads with its own proprietary screening technology and delivering variable-size ink droplets to the paper with visibly superior results.
If you’re new to the Mac, haven’t upgraded your operating system in a while or simply want to know just about everything there is to know about Mac OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion, you’ll want David Pogue’s “OS X Mountain Lion: The Missing Manual.”
The Retina Display MacBook Pro (the rMBP) is a gorgeous machine. It would be a shame to ruin it by spilling Dr. Pepper or a latte on its keyboard. The NewerTech NuGuard Keyboard Cover for the latest, greatest pro laptop can help prevent disaster.
The manufacturer’s suggested retail price of US$19.99 is a small price to pay for the form-fitting silicone cover. As far as we know, it’s the only protector available so far for the rMBP. It’s black, silicone and matches the function keys printed on the full-sized keyboard’s 78 (U.S.) keys.
