iWork for iCloud apps now available for Windows, Android users

Apple has made its iWork apps — Pages, Numbers and Keynote — available to users of beyond Mac OS X and iOS apps. Yep, that means Windows and Android users.

The apps are accessible to users without an Apple device through the iCloud Beta program. Anyone can sign up for an Apple ID to access Pages, Numbers, and Keynote for free. Each account comes with 1GB of complementary iCloud storage.

By 2017, mobile commerce revenue to be 50% of U.S. digital commerce

Rampant interest in mobile payments is expected by 2015, along with a significant increase in mobile commerce. Due to this, Gartner, Inc. (www.gartner.com) predicts that by 2017, U.S. customers’ mobile engagement behavior will drive mobile commerce revenue in the U.S. to 50%of U.S. digital commerce revenue.

A recent Gartner survey found that mobile commerce currently generates 22% of digital commerce revenue.
