Analyst raises iPad sales estimate for fiscal 2011 from 5.5 million to 7.2 million

imageBMO Capital analyst Keith Bachman is predicting a 17% increase in Mac sales, a new iPhone in June and higher iPad sales than many expect.

According to “Forbes” (http://brainstormtech.blogs.fortune.cnn.com/2010/03/25/bmo-ups-its-ipad-sales-estimate-44/), he says that his initial estimate — that Apple would sell 2.5 million units in fiscal 2010 and 5.5 million in fiscal 2011 — was conservative. He’s raised his fiscal 2011 estimate to 7.2 million — a 30.09% increase.
