No relief is in sight: there’s no timeline for when Apple will catch up to demand for the iPhone Duo, CEO John Ternus told Reuters (a subscription is required to read the article).

“Duo is constrained as of today,” he said. “The ramp is going well, and we’re working hard to get it to as many customers as quickly as possible, but at this point, we’re not able to predict when supply and demand will be in balance.

Regarding reports of display and hinge issues on the foldable, he told Reuters that “a very small percentage” of units have been returned and Apple is offering replacements.

Shipping estimates from the Apple Store are still set for late January. This has been the case since the first pre-orders immediately sold out on October 16.
