° Theine for macOS has been updated to version 4 and is available exclusively on the Mac App Store. The US$8.99 app can: keep your Mac awake; suppress the screen saver, briefly or indefinitely; cover all desktop icons and widgets with an image, blur, or color; and dim everything behind your active window or app.
° Blackmagic Design has announced DaVinci Resolve 21.1, an update that introduces AI assistant integration allowing customers to manage tasks such as organizing media or batch rendering, as well as expanded support for camera formats on the photo page. The Fusion 3D and shape tool kit is further expanded the with over 25 new Krokodove tools, plus there are over 100 new tools and controls for faster editing and color grading workflows.
° The makers of the iSharing app, a real-time GPS phone tracker designed for family safety and location sharing, has launched “Meetup,” a new feature that enables users to share locations and meet in groups without adding each other as permanent friends. The feature is meant for people who meet for casual activities like running, hiking, and sports with changing memberships, as well as one-off gatherings such as festivals and tailgating parties. It is also suitable for recurring groups such as youth sports leagues. Hosts can easily invite up to 30 participants via QR code or link across both iOS and Android.
° Shujinkou for macOS is now available at the Mac App Store. It’s a story-driven dungeon-crawling JRPG featuring two major story arcs, 16 labyrinths, 200+ quests, an 80+ hour campaign, and a 158-track original soundtrack. The app is free to download, with roughly the first 5-10 hours playable at no cost before any optional one-time content unlocks.
° Feral Interactive has today announced that Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris is out now on iOS and Android via the App Store and Google Play Store. The first level is available to install and play as a ‘Try Before You Buy’ app, with the full game available to unlock via a single in-app payment of $9.99.
° ° Ramen has rolled out Aura 1.0, its AI development agent for game developers building on Unity and Unreal Engine. The release brings a redesigned interface, frontier-level performance with its Verification Agent, quicker Blueprint generation, persistent project memory, multi-project support, and unlimited usage in Auto mode, all at a lower price than beta ever offered as well as Mac support and launch on the Fab store.
° JumpCloud Inc. has announced the extension of its Agentic IAM capabilities. The platform now manages AI agents alongside human employees and devices. This gives IT teams the ability to govern agent access across data, apps, and everyday tasks.
