Ergonis Software has announced PopChar X 8.3, an upgrade of the Mac tool for finding and inserting special characters and exploring fonts.
It’s designed to make typing of unusual characters easy without having to remember keyboard combinations. Version 8.3 offers a couple of smart user interface improvements, like WYSIWYG font names, the option to remember the selected font for all applications instead of separately per application, and more.
PopChar X 8.3 requires macOS 10.6 or newer. It can be purchased on the Ergonis Software website (http://ergonis.com). The upgrade is free for anyone who purchased a license for PopChar X 8 or for PopChar X 7 on or after Sept. 1, 2016. Upgrade paths are available for owners of older licenses.
