PipelineFX has launched released Qube! 6.8 (http://www.pipelinefx.com/features/), an update to the render farm management software for visual effects. The new version expands the capabilities of ArtistView bringing job submissions, a simpler configuration process and tabbed navigation into a new user interface.
ArtistView was designed to streamline WranglerView, so artists only have to focus on creative elements like queue control, project updates, and render previews. Qube! 6.8 kickstarts that process by taking submission elements from WranglerView and presenting them in a way that speaks to the workflow needs of top studios. The update also adds: centralized preferences; OS X El Capitan support; Harmony 12 support; and VRED Sequencer support.
Customers currently on maintenance and support can download version 6.8 immediately from the PipelineFX ftp site. Monthly subscription licenses are $15/mo. Dedicated licensing options like Qube! Designer (best for design and broadcast) and Qube! Unlimited (best for VFX and education) are also available.
