Tumult has rolled out Hype 3.0 and Hype Professional, a major update to its HTML5 animation builder for OS X.
Hype supports the latest HTML5/CSS3 features and uses a keyframe-based animation system with a recorder to create motions and transitions. Hype Professional is a new in-app purchase to Hype 3.0, adding features targeted at graphic design pros.
Tumult Hype 3.0 (Standard) is a free upgrade for Hype 2.x owners. This update, the base of Hype Professional, elevates animated web content with more timing functions and web accessibility support. Hype 3 features an user interface redesign tailored for OS X Yosemite.
Tumult Hype 3.0 and Hype Professional are sold on the Mac App Store and the Tumult Store (http://tumult.com/hype/pro/). Tumult Hype 3.0 is available for US$49.99. Hype Professional is offered as a in-app purchase for an additional $49.99 — or the full version can be purchased for $99.99. A demo is available for download at the Tumult site.
