Tension Software has released URL Extractor X 4.4. The Mac OS X app extracts email address and generic URLs from files on the HD or directly from the web using a list of “starting” web addresses and working unattended after the
startup.

URL Extractor can extract thousands of URLs from the web starting from a single web page and using “cross navigation” and extraction. In version 4.4, each URL is collected with the source URL (the URL from where it was extracted) listed in another column. The new version also adds advanced URL export capabilities, the ability to specify a custom client app name to declare connecting to the server, and layout adjustments.

URL Extractor requires Mac OS X 10.9 or higher and costs US$50. It’s available at the Tension Software website (www.tensionsoftware.com) and the Mac App Store.
