Intuit has released Quicken 2015 for Mac (http://www.quicken.com/mac), an update of the personal finance software that sports an interface designed specifically for the Mac and new investment capabilities.

The redesigned product also syncs with a free mobile companion app providing the ability to photograph and track receipts so users can more easily stay on top of their money. Quicken 2015 for Mac 2015 links users to more than 14,500 different banks, credit cards, loan and investment accounts, allowing them to view their financial statements in one place. Other familiar features include tracking spending by category, creating budgets and the ability to schedule bills and reminders.

Additional product features and capabilities are expected to be released throughout the year to continuously improve the user experience, according to Barry Saik, senior vice president and general manager of Intuit’s Consumer Ecosystem Group. These additional features and capabilities would be offered only when and if made available by Intuit, he adds.

Quicken 2015 for Mac is available for US$74.99 at the product web site, the Mac App Store, and Amazon. It will be available in retail starting in October.
