No longer will iPhone-owning cyclists need to stop and remove their phone to access MapMyRide or to check texts. WaterField Designs has entered the cycling market with the introduction of the Cycling Ride Pouch (http://tinyurl.com/p8fzfqv), a wallet-like bike toolkit with a clear iPhone window that allows riders to view and send texts or access apps without removing the phone.

The Cycling Ride Pouch is an US$69 upscale leather kit sized to fit into a cycling jersey pocket. The Pouch was inspired by the Velominati cycling collective’s Rule #31—”Spare tubes, multi-tools and repair kits should be store in jersey pockets.” WaterField kicked it up a notch by adding cash, card and ID pockets and a padded iPhone slot.

The Pouch fits the exact dimensions of your jersey pocket and unzips on three sides to lie flat on the road when you need to make repairs. It’s made of distressed, full grain leather and comes in black or grizzle brown. It’s compatible with the iPhone 6, Samsung S4 or similar sized phone.
