ExactCODE (http://exactscan.com) has released ExactScan Pro 2.50 and OCRKit 2.5 for Mac OS X 10.5 and higher. The new builds improve OCR speed and accuracy, PDF compression, scan speed, and adds support for the latest scanners from Canon and Fujitsu.
OCRKit and ExactScan provide OCR, PDF compression. EcactScan offers built-in drivers for over 400 document scanners, including devices from Avision, Canon, Kodak, Fujitsu, Oki, Visioneer and Xerox. The drivers built into ExactScan stand allow you to use several PC document scanners on a Mac.
OCRKit is available for approximately US$68, ExactScan 2 is available for $109, and ExactScan 2 Pro for approximately $137. Both are available at the ExactCODE web site and the Mac App Store.
