Tension Software (http://www.tensionsoftware.com) has revved Geo WPS, a Mac OS X geo-tracking app, to version 1.1. The upgrade sports a new Refresh command and a faster refresh at high zoom levels.
Geo WPS lets you track your geographic position using OS X Wi-Fi geo-tracking. It shows your position over a zoomable OpenLayers map that’s updated live from the Internet.
Geo WPS can work with any Mac with Airport turned on (to detect correct location) and an available Internet connection (using any kind of connection). It requires Mac OS X 10.8 or higher, costs US$2, and is available at the Mac App Store.
